Oozuku vs Oozuku vs Oozuku vs Nakayama Asagi

Hey,

its been a long time since my last post but i had lots to do. I've recently bought/traded two new oozukus. One lv5+ from Maxim and another one from a german reseller which i, hand on my heart, first just wanted to buy 'cause of his look. After phoning with the shopowner i got this stone to test. After testing i decided to keep it. First some pictures with the stones i've allready had:

oozuku (maxim)
oozuku

oozuku

nakayama asagi
 First what i've done is a waterdrop test to know which one is the hardest stone of them.  I soaked all stones for about 2 hours. Than i dropped one drop of water on all of them and watched how long it lasts there. Here is the result:

Maxims that he rated lv5+, new one on right there is what is left of the drop (look seriously, its hard to see)

Nakayama Asagi
Oozuku

 This is how the drop looked after 75 Minutes. I think if i should rate this i would say:
First oozuku: lv5+ like maxim said.
Second one: lv4.5-5
the grey oozuku lv5++
and last but not lease nakayama asagi lv5+ since its drop is nearly similar to the oozuku.

Next i've done was a shave test. I honed a Kamisori first on the Stone from Maxim. Wow, what a nice feedback and the stone has a nice creamy feeling to it. I've shaved right after the stone, without using chromiumoxyd or even stropping. I had a really nice and smooth shave. I never thought that this is possible. Next one was the lv5++. With the same result. A nice smooth shave. No Pain at all. The Oozuku with the unusual pattern was a bit softer than the other ones and the shave off this stone wasnt that smooth like the shaves with the other ones. it didnt hurt or so, but the other two stones creating a smoother edge. The nakayama asagi made a nice smooth shave aswell.
Now i tried how the behaviour will differ if i use a western like razor. I chose a Ern "Crown & Sword". After honing it the shaves were smooth but not as smooth as the ones with the kamisori, maybe thats because im more often shaving with kamisoris. Than i tried how it felt after chromium oxyde and using a strop. I think i cant feel which hone was used when i didnt knew it before. They all make great edges and smooth shaves.
My favourite stone of them is the one from Maxim cause it provides the best feeling while honing.
best thing is i dont want to miss one of this stones, cause they're all very good and beauties (except the nakayama hehe)
