today im happy to write some reviews of shaving creams and soaps which i've got lately.
So here we go:
Castle Forbes Lime:
I've used this two times so far and i could say, that this is the holy grail in creams so far for me.
Lather: Perfect. Comes easy and fast and is really fine pored, just how it should be it gets.
Price: Little pricey but worth every cent.
Scent: this is how a lime cream should smell for me. Really naturally for me.
This cream softens the beard really well and the razor glides through it like butter.
All in all on a scale of ten this will get a 9 just because of the prize.
Olivias Churchill Crema
Olivia calls this "Crema" but this is a soft soap for me. It feels like a shaving soap not like a cream.
Lather: Doesnt comes as fast as the castle forbes but with little patience you've get lots of great lather out of it.
Price: You've get lots of crema for a really good price. Great value!
Scent: Somewhere i've heard this should smell like the Blenheim Bouquet from penhaligons. For me it smells totally different. This does not mean, that this scent is bad, its really good balanced lemon scent.
The cream softens the beard as good as the castle forbes for me. Also the blade glides through the beard as there is none. The moisturizing factor on this cream is perfect. Also the grooming is really good.
My conclusion is that this is a really nice soap for a very attractive prize. Dont miss.
Olivias Fontana crema
This is olivias cooling cream/soap. Sometimes i like it to use a cooling lather
Scent: Smells like a cough drop. :D eucalyptus and menthol. This isnt my scent.
Lather: equal to the churchill.http://forum.nassrasur.com/index.php
Coolingeffect: Good amount of cooling, not too much and not too less. this is how i want it!
Rest is equal to the churchil. I guess olivia uses just different scents in the same fundament cream. :D
Italian Palmolive with menthol
Lather: Really easy to make a really nice lather out of it. You'll look like a santa claus after 30 seconds facelathering.
Coolingeffect: This is nearly too much cooling for me. Feels like a fridge. :D
If you like the omega soap youll love this.
Prize: Someone got me this from italy. There it cost 1,49€ i think. Perfect price value. Perfect cream for this price.
My conclusion: If you go to italy get some of this. Its worth the money.
